Soda Dungeon is a fun and addicting roguelike fantasy game. It has an interesting theme of Soda attracting higher quality fighters to a tavern. You can get more decor for the tavern to attract higher level clientele as well. You can have up to 5 characters follow you into the dungeon.

Gameplay is a quick advancement through a dungeon as you fight small monsters and boss monsters every 5 levels. Every 10 levels you receive a treasure chest with items to upgrade your heroes with. You can play through the game without auto play. Later on in the game you do get various skills you can use per character. Using auto play just made the runs quicker and there was a nice dopamine hit from watching the monsters die quickly. It almost makes the game an Idle game instead. Set it to autorun and then go do something else for a bit. Every once in a while you will get a choice thrown at you of two different doors. You can choose to go through one or stay on the path you are on. Sometimes those doors are good for you sometimes they are bad. I will give the gameplay a good 8. I feel that it has a good pace to it for progression.

The UI is clean and easy to follow. There is not much to it and it does not detract from the game in anyway at all. The look and the feel of it is nice and I will give it a 7.

There really isn’t much of a story to follow. There is a bit of one involving the owner of the dungeon you keep crashing. The goal is just to advance farther and farther into the dungeon and dimensions later on. As there is a bit of one and it is kind of unique I will give it a 5 only

Character Progression is all tied to the different items you loot as you go along. You can set it to auto equip your characters as you get them with the highest level items you have. Each run uses different character’s as they drop their items and run away when they hit 0 life each run. I would give this a solid 8 as it is a good way to move forward with characters and I quite like it.

The graphics are all pixel art and very well done. There is a wide range of different art done for the monsters and characters. I would give the art a solid 7.

This is a fun little game that I would recommend to anyone wanting a roguelike game. Overall I would give this game a 7.
