Waven is a tactical turn based strategy RPG. You play as a hero in a world that has been devastated by flooding. So everything is on islands now. You have your own island and your own boat to get around.
Game play is fun if you like tactical turn based games. You start out on a grid and can move each turn. You have a number of points you can use on spells. Depending on what spells you cast you can summon companions to join you on the field to attack as well.
The UI is very clean and easy to use. Does not distract from the game at all.
Character progression is easy and straight forward. Each combat you gain experience to raise your over all level. You also get chests to open which have anything from new companions, equipment or upgrades for your spells.
The graphics are great. They are a fun cartoon stylized type that is pleasing to the eye. Overall it is well put together and everything meshes well graphics wise.
The story was fun and engaging in what I played of the game. It was original and easy to follow.
Over all I would give this an 8. It is a fun engaging tactical strategy game with very appealing graphics.
